Hi,
This plugin is an alternative to the built-in wordpress image system. Instead of resizing images at the time of upload, it resize images when you need them according to your requriement.
The only difference is insert images using an [img] shortcode instead of the img HTML tag.
Requires WordPress Version: 2.7 or higher
